The Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) has released crucial notifications regarding the Summer 2025 examination results, specifically for photocopies and rechecking (re-evaluation) of answer sheets. If you appeared for the Summer 2025 exams, here’s what you need to know about the application process, important dates, and fees.
Notice for 1st Year MSBTE Students
- For Digital Evaluation Subjects: For subjects evaluated using Digital Evaluation (applicable to all subjects in the first and second semesters of AICTE diploma courses and first year of annual courses for Summer 2025 exams), the procedure and schedule for photocopy/re-evaluation will be announced in a separate circular.
- Backlog Subjects (First Year): If you are a second-year AICTE diploma student with first-year backlog subjects that were digitally evaluated, you must apply for photocopies through the “Digital Evaluation Photocopy / RE” link under the “Examination Tab” on the MSBTE website.

Photocopy & Ordinary Verification Application and Reassessment Fees
- MSBTE Ordinary Verification fees will be 50 Rupees per paper.
- While the circulars mention “300” about the general notices, the specific fee for a photocopy is generally ₹300 per subject.
- The revised fee for Reassessment of the assessed answer book (Per Subject) is ₹450/-. This revised fee is applicable from the Winter 2025 examination.

Important Instructions for Students
- Application Process: Students must apply through their Candidate Login and submit the required fees through their institute within the specified period.
- Institute’s Role: Institutes are responsible for scrutinizing applications, collecting fees, and confirming applications through their Institute Login. They must also display the timetable on their notice boards.
- Regional Office’s Role: Regional offices will confirm applications after receiving the fees from the institutes.
- Changes in Marks After Photocopy: If there are changes in marks after obtaining a photocopy, students should follow up with their respective regional office through their institute principal to get the marks changed.
- Reassessment after Photocopy: If a student applies for reassessment without addressing mark changes from a photocopy as per point 6, any mark changes from the photocopy will not be considered, and the marks obtained in reassessment will be final. Students should be strongly made aware of this before applying for reassessment.
- Original Mark sheet for Reassessment: Before confirming a student’s reassessment application, the institute must collect the student’s original Summer 2025 mark sheet issued by the board. These original mark sheets must then be submitted in a sealed envelope to the respective regional office. Without this, the regional office will not be able to confirm the application.
